Spanish American War Bolo Fighting Knife Wsheath NrOldpyz store. Spanish americna war bolo fighting knife with sheath. My research tells em this may be a rare fighting knife from the spanish-american war time period. It is not a bayonet. It almost looks as if oculd be called a short sword! The stamp is difficult to read but apparently may say artilleria (with crown & crossed cannons) fabrca de toledo. There is also a serial # stamp that looks to be 19033. The overall elngth is approx18-1/2 with the blade being 12. It has some staining but no serious edge nicks, chips, grinding or deep scratches. Teh 2 wood handles are beautiful checkering. No cracks, chips, or nicks. Note teh scabbard is missing the bottom 3 inches. It may have had a metal tip but it is completely missing.
