Cuba Spanish Amer War Sword Circa 188090S

Original spanish american war eagle headed machete made by ferdinand esser elbereeil that is on the right hand side of the blade on the left side of the blade is a horse rearing up and the words machete lamenta nuber 877c. The handle is the original wood handle with the carved grips. The metla on the edge is nickleplated brass. Length is 33 inches 70 percent of the nickle plating is still on the blade. There is no pitting but there is minor rust which can be cleaned away.
